Research topic: Environmental issues and human security in North East Asia, Development and life of indigenous people in Siberia (case of Evenk)
Prof. Si Qinfu was born and raised in grasslands of Xilingol, Inner Mongolia. Having interest on natural environment and environmental issues through nomadic life, he has contributed to environmental protection with local people in Siberia, Mongolia and Yunnan in China.

Yosuke Shimazono

Associate Professor, Global Collaboration Center (GLOCOL), Osaka University, Graduate School of Human Sciences, Osaka University.
Education: Ph.D. in Social Anthropology, Oxford University
Research Interest: Medical anthropology, organ transplantation, assisted reproductive technology, bioethics, global health.
Dr. Shimazono has been conducting on with an anthropological research organ transplantation and international organ trade and is now interested in legal, ethical and social issues arising from the dissemination of assisted reproductive technologies in developing countries.

Yoshinori Sumimura

Research topic: Anthropological study on environmental health in Southeast Asia; Modernization and humanity.
Prof. Yoshinori Sumimura was born in Hiroshima. From early 90's he studied culture and society in Vietnam. He is also concerned with global industry-university collaboration especially in Asian emerging countries.

Yu Ganqian

Prof. Yu Ganqian has continuously worked on the development of various fields as local food industry, sightseeing and education in China and his areas of activity are expanding.

Bumochir Dulam

Professor and Chair of the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology, National University of Mongolia
Education: Ph.D. Department of Social Anthropology, Cambridge University
Research interests: Folk traditions, religion and politics in Mongolia and Inner Asia
Prof. Bumochir Dulam has been working for the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology of the National University of Mongolia and has been one of the key contributors to develop from the Soviet scholarship of ethnography to modern western anthropology. Not only he has made presentations of the Mongolian anthropological institution in the international fields, but also he is advancing anthropological research of Mongolia from a new viewpoint.
